Description

This is a rare Tanto by Nagayoshi, dated Jowa 6 (1350), making it potentially the oldest known work by the smith. It features a vibrant hitatsura hamon with abundant nie and kinsuji, characteristic of the Soshu-Bizen tradition. The blade comes with both shirasaya and an elegant koshirae, and is accompanied by NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon papers.
