Hozon — Certified Swords for Sale
Hozon ("Worthy of Preservation") is the foundational NBTHK certification confirming a sword's authenticity, quality, and historical merit. Hozon papers verify that a blade is a genuine Japanese sword of recognized craftsmanship — making it an essential baseline for collectors. Many Hozon-certified pieces offer exceptional value and are actively sought by collectors building their first collections.
2,055 items currently available from trusted dealers worldwide.
Programmatic access: range and multi-facet queries (by price, blade length, certification, and more) are available as JSON at /api/public/listings. See /llms.txt for the full schema and filters.

Kyo-Kinko fuchikashira with NBTHK Hozon Tosogu. Decorated with a Japanese festival theme. There are multiple people with swords, fans and musical instruments. All appear to be dancing. Made of shakudo with nanako ground. With multiple inlaid metals. When looking at it in person those small characters make an amazing impression. However with zoom and close ups most of the magic disappears. So it is best to try to look at this set in its original size. Size: Fuchi: 39 mm x 23 mm x 12 mm Kashira: 33 mm x 19 mm x 8 mm Made in late edo period.
