Description

This tachi is attributed to Kunitsugu of Bitchu Province, active in the early Muromachi period, and is from the Aoe school. It comes with a magnificent gold nashiji tachi koshirae featuring a holly and omodaka crest makie saya, which is known as the 'Ozeki Omodaka crest' and was the family crest of the Ozeki family, lords of the Kurobane Domain. Items from the Ozeki family are extremely rare, making this a historically valuable piece.
