This is a shinogi-zukuri katana signed Bizen Osafune Ju Yokoyama Sukenaga and dated Bunsen Hachi New Ni Gatsu HI (1825 a day in February). The blade features an itame hada with some mokume covered in ji-nie, a finely distributed nio-guchi with ko-ashi, and an erratic gunome-choji midareba hamon. The sword is mounted in shirasaya with a gold washed habaki and a black ito wrapped tsuka, and the koshirae has deeply carved fuchi / kashira of pine trees and figures.
