This is a wakizashi by Yokoyama Sukenaga from the Shinshinto period. The blade features a tight itame hada and a suguha hamon done in nie deki. The sword is signed and dated Tenpo 2 (1831) and comes with papers issued in Great Britain in 1989 and a custom one piece gold foiled habaki and premium shirasaya.
