This is a tanto signed Bizen no kuni ju Fujiwara Sukesada from the Momoyama period. It is finished in the classic Bizen style with a sugu-ha hamon and mokume/itame hada. The tanto comes mounted in a beautiful koshirae with a silver habaki and a saya with a hidden compartment for storing coins.
