It features a hira-zukuri, iori-mune form with a beautiful jigane of ko-itame hada mixed with mokume, showing ji-nie and chikei. The hamon is gunome-midare with tobiyaki, actively working and brilliantly clear. The smith's real name was Nakagawa, and he was the son of the first Hikobei.
