Description

This is an elegant Sue-Bizen katana by Bizen Osafune Sukesada, measuring 69.6cm, suitable for appreciation, iai, and tameshigiri. The blade features a well-expressed jigane and a gentle, tapering form with a deep sori. The hamon is a nioi-deki straight temper line mixed with gunome, and the boshi shows a good yakiba with slight differences between omote and ura. It comes with a koshirae made with period fittings, featuring a mokko-shaped tsuba with fukurin and housed in a black roiro saya.
