Description

This is a ko-wakizashi made by Masahiro, likely the 6th or 7th generation smith active around the Tenbun era of the late Muromachi period. It features a mitsu-mune ridge, wide mihaba, and sharp saki-zori, displaying the characteristics of the Sōshū tradition. The blade is in old polish, but the jihada and hamon are clearly visible.
