This katana, attributed to the Tegai school of Yamato province, dates to the Nanbokucho period. It features a high shinogi and thick kasane, with a koshi-zori curvature. The jitetsu exhibits ko-itame hada with vitality, and masame-like grain is visible near the hamon. Deep, dark jigane lines (jikei) are impressive, separating the ji-nie that covers the entire surface.
