This is a katana signed by Fujiwara Ason Sukenaga, dated 1831. Sukenaga was a skilled Bizen school maker of the Shin-shinto period, working in the Yokoyama school. The blade is in old Japanese polish and comes with a koshirae and authenticity certificate.
