This is a mumei katana attributed to the Tegai school, dating to the late Kamakura period. The blade has been shortened but retains an elegant shape with a wide difference between the original and present width. The sword comes with a special kicho certificate, a copper habaki with silver cherry blossom design, and a shirasaya.
