Modern sword Osyu gosyo ju Yoshimitsu with Koshirae. 岩手県の名工、安本吉光の作品です。板目肌がよく詰んだ豪壮な姿に、刃中の働きが盛んな互の目を焼いた、素晴らしい一振です。柄は新品で、刀身・拵ともにコンディションは良好です。ご購入後、すぐに試斬にお使いいただけます。 This is a work by Yasumoto Yoshimitsu, a master swordsmith from Iwate Prefecture. It is a superb sword with an imposing form, featuring a well-forged and tightly packed itame-hada, and a lively gunome temper pattern rich in activity within the blade. The tsuka is newly made, and both the blade and the koshirae are in excellent condition. It can be used for tameshigiri immediately after purchase. 「刀姿 sword figure」鎬造り庵棟、身幅太く重厚く、鳥居反り中鋒。茎は生で化粧鑢がかかり、茎尻は栗尻。 Shinogi-zukuri construction with an iori-mune back. The blade has a wide mihaba and a substantial, heavy feel, with torii-zori curvature and a chū-kissaki point. The nakago is ubu (unaltered), finished with keshō-yasuri file marks, and the nakago-jiri is kuri-jiri. 「地鉄 jigane」地鉄は小板目がよく詰み流れ地景が入り、地沸付く。 The jigane shows a tightly forged ko-itame grain with a flowing tendency, containing chikei, and is covered with ji-nie. 「刃紋 hamon」刃文は互の目乱れで足入り、刃縁沸付き砂流しかかる。刃中は金筋が良く働き簾刃のようになる。釯子は乱れ込み小丸に返る。 The hamon is gunome-midare, with ashi entering the temper line. The habuchi is covered with nie, with sunagashi activity appearing throughout. Within the blade, kinsuji works prominently, giving an appearance reminiscent of sudareba. The bōshi turns back in komaru after entering in a midare pattern. 「特徴 detailed」奥州御所住吉光、本名は安本徳治。明治37年生まれで、岩手県岩手郡雫石町にて鍛刀しました。元陸軍受命刀匠であり、宮入昭平に師事しました。新作刀展では、優秀賞3回、努力賞3回、入選13回を果たした実力派刀匠です。本作は、身幅が広く、重ねの厚い豪壮な姿をしています。地鉄は板目肌がよく詰み、流れごころとなり、地景が入ります。刃文は互の目乱れで足が入り、刃縁には沸が付き、砂流しがかかります。刃中には金筋がよく働き、簾刃のようにも見える見事な刀身です。コンディションも良好です。拵は、柄が金具類を含め新品です(柄の長さは8寸5分)。鞘の状態も良好です。重量はやや重めですが、バランスが良いため、手持ち感は軽く感じられます。ご購入後、すぐに試斬にお使いいただけます。 Ōshū Gosho-jū Yoshimitsu, whose real name was Yasumoto Tokuji, was born in Meiji 37 (1904) and forged swords in Shizukuishi Town, Iwate District, Iwate Prefecture. He was a former Rikugun Jumei Tōshō (Army-approved swordsmith) and studied under Miyairi Akihira. At the Shinsakutō exhibitions, he received the Excellence Award three times, the Effort Award three times, and was selected for exhibition 13 times, making him a highly skilled swordsmith. This sword has a powerful and imposing form, with a wide mihaba and a thick kasane. The jigane shows a well-forged itame-hada, tightly packed with a flowing tendency, and contains chikei. The hamon is gunome-midare with ashi, while the habuchi is covered with nie and shows sunagashi. Within the blade, kinsuji activity appears prominently, creating an impressive appearance reminiscent of sudareba. The condition is also excellent. As for the koshirae, the tsuka, including the fittings, is newly made. The tsuka length is 8 sun 5 bu. The saya is also in good condition. Although the sword is slightly heavy, it is well-balanced and feels light in hand. It can be used for tameshigiri immediately after purchase. 「拵 Koshirae」ハバキ(habaki) :銀無垢一重の腰祐乗。鍔(tsuba) :鉄地波濤の図。縁頭(futikasira):銀地波に千鳥の図。目貫(menuki) :金地海老の図。柄(tsuka) :鮫は親粒が付き巻鮫、柄巻は豚表革の焦げ茶色。鞘(saya) :黒石目。「刀剣の状態 condition of blade」研:良好です。傷:欠点に成るような傷は有りません。
