This is a Katana attributed to the Hosho school of Yamato Province, from the late Kamakura period. Although unsigned, it comes with a highly regarded sayagaki by Tanobe sensei. The blade features well-forged masame-hada and a suguha hamon with active nioi, nie, sunagashi, kinsuji, and yubashiri, showcasing characteristics unique to ancient swords.
