This katana is a rare collaboration between the first and second generation Suishinshi Masahide, dated Bunka 13 (1816). The blade features a distinctive saw-like gunome hamon, characteristic of the first generation's 'Fukko Zohoron' (Restoration of Ancient Forging Methods) philosophy, emphasizing practicality and cutting ability. It comes with a Tokubetsu Hozon certificate and is housed in a shirasaya.
