This is a robust yoroidoshi tanto made by Yasuchika of the Soshu school during the late Edo period. The blade features impressive itame hada with mokume, dense chikei and jinie, and a komidare hamon based on suguha in ko-nie deki. It comes with a solid silver habaki, a nice shirasaya, and three papers documenting its authenticity and quality.
