Description

This is a tanto attributed to Shikibunojo Nobukuni from the Yamashiro province, dating back to the early Muromachi period (circa 1394-1428). It features an unusual blade shape with shobu-zukuri on the front and hira-zukuri on the back. The blade is in good condition and comes with a habaki, shirasaya, shirasaya bag, registration certificate, and a certificate from the Kurashiki Token Art Museum.
