This is a wakizashi from the Sue-Sa / O-Sa school, active during the Nanbokucho period. The blade is mumei (unsigned) and has been designated NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Token. It is a Naginata-naoshi piece with excellent jigane and a notare hamon mixed with suguha, and comes with koshirae.
