Description

This katana is attributed to Echizen Daijō Kunitsugu, active during the early Edo period (1624–1644) and a member of the prestigious Horikawa school. Kunitsugu was a disciple of Dewa Daijō Kunimichi and received the honorable title of Echizen Daijo in 1634. The blade comes with an NBTHK Hozon Certificate, shirasaya, and koshirae, featuring a fuchi-kashira with an Ami-Sakura-zu motif and dragon-themed menuki.
