This is a pre-war Gendaito katana by the smith Sukemori, who was born in 1883 and trained under Hiraga Morikuni. The blade features a tight ko-itame hada with chikei and a ko-midare to ko-notare hamon. It is published in John Slough’s "Modern Japanese Swordsmith’s" on page 164.
