This is a katana from the Shinto era around the 1600s, attributed to a Jumyo swordsmith by NBTHK papers. The hamon is gunome midare with many hataraki, and the hada is rich and active. The mounts are original old fittings dating back to the Shinto era, making it a fine collectable sword.
