Explanation A matched daishō set of tsuba depicting herons by the waterside, executed on shakudō with an ishime-ji ground. The motif is rendered in takabori with iroe accents, and both plates are fitted with suika-ana utility openings. Following examination, this work was designated Jūyō Tōsōgu.
