Kozuka: Shakudo Nanako-ji, floral motif with gold Iroe. Description: This is a Tanto attributed to the Enju school. The Enju school was founded by Taro Kunimura, the grandson of Rai Kuniyuki, who moved from Yamashiro to Higo province (Kumamoto Prefecture) during the Kamakura period. This blade features a calm Suguha hamon characteristic of the school, with a refined Jigane. The Koshirae is a high-quality Aikuchi style, making it an excellent piece for appreciation.
