Description

This is an unsigned katana attributed to Osafune Morishige, a smith from the Muromachi period. It features a well-proportioned shape with deep curvature and an extended kissaki, and a beautiful jigane with utsuri. The hamon is choji-midare mixed with gunome-midare, reminiscent of the Ichimonji school, and the blade comes with a shirasaya and a complete koshirae.
