This is a signed wakizashi by Kanezumi, a swordsmith from Mino province and part of the Nara school of the Seki Seven Schools. This blade is attributed to the early Kanezumi of the Koto period, featuring a nie-deki hamon with gunome-choji, and an active choji on the omote side. The blade is healthy with a clear higaki yasurime on the tang, though there are some unfortunate buried iron inclusions on the ura side.
