Explanation This is an unsigned that has been greatly shortened (), and it is appraised as . The Uda school traces its origin to Ko-nyūdō Kunimitsu (古入道国光) in the late period. In the period, smiths such as Kunifusa, Kunimune, and Kunitsugu were active, and successive generations using the names continued until the end of the period. Among these works, those dating from the late through the period are broadly referred to as “.”
