This is a tachi by Kumo Tsugu, a swordsmith who was active in Bizen province from the late Kamakura period to the early Nanbokucho period. The blade measures 67.5cm in length and comes with a beautiful tachi koshirae that appears to be of modern make. The blade has been polished multiple times, resulting in a thinner blade near the tip, but it is still suitable for appreciation.
