This is a katana by Unju from the Nanbokucho period. Unju was a swordsmith active in the mid-Nanbokucho period, following Unsho and Unji of the late Kamakura period. His works are sometimes inscribed with his residence as 'Bizen Koku Ukan ju Unju'.
