This katana is by Dotanuki Munehiro, a renowned smith from the Shin-Shinto period and considered a master at the end of the Dotanuki lineage. The blade features a slightly slender body, a jigane forged in itame, and a gunome choji midare hamon with deep nioiguchi and sunagashi. It comes with a koshirae with antique fittings and a shirasaya with a sayagaki by Mr. Sato, director of the Kurashiki Touken Museum.
