Heianjo Kunitsugu國次
This is a sasaho yari (spear) made by Heianjo Fujiwara no Kunitsugu during the Kanei era (early Edo period). Kunitsugu was a student of Dewa Daijo Kunimichi and later received the title of Echizen Daijo. The spear has an engraving of "Uchi-hi" on the back and was inherited in the Ashina family, Kakunodate in Akita region.
