Naoe Shizu Kanenobu兼延
This mumei katana is attributed to Kanenobu, the son of Kaneari, founder of the Muroya Seki school. He later moved to Shiga in Owari province, becoming known as Shiga Seki. The blade features a well-forged itame-hada mixed with mokume, jifu, and a faint shirake-utsuri. The hamon is a shallow notare mixed with ko-midare, with a bright nioi-guchi and active hataraki. It comes with an uchigatana koshirae featuring a blue shell dust lacquer and dragon makie.
