This listing features a katana made by the smith Enomoto Sadayoshi, born in Showa 26 (1951). He learned from his father, Suishin Sadakichi, a student of Gassan Sadakatsu, and exhibited his work in the 1975 New Sword Exhibition. Fascinated by the bright nie of Soshu-den and the dynamic ji-kei and kin-suji on the blade, he forged swords in the style of Masamune, Sadamune, Norishige, Shizu Saburo Kaneuji, and Go Yoshihiro.
