This is a katana by Mukansa swordsmith Enomoto Sadakichi, a distinguished disciple of Gassan Sadakatsu. Made as a custom order, it features a powerful Sōshū-den style with a nie-deki hamon and robust blade shape. The sword is housed in a shirasaya and dates to the late Showa period.
