The hamon is a gentle chu-suguha with slight notare, a plump habuchi, and fine nie, expertly fired without unevenness. Despite the cut mei due to suriage, it is an elegant and well-made piece, ideal for iai, koryu kenjutsu kata, and tameshigiri.
