Description

This is a brass tsuba signed by Tsuneshige, a student of Nara Shigetsugu active around 1775-1800. The tsuba depicts Minamoto No Yoshiie spotting geese taking flight, revealing hidden enemy soldiers. It is decorated with gold and shakudo inlay and comes with NBTHK Hozon Tosogu certification.
