Description

This is a tsuba made by Tsuneshige from the mid Edo period. It depicts Fan Kuai rushing to help Liu Bang at the Feast at Swan Goose Gate. The tsuba is made of shinchu (brass) with iroe (colored metal inlay) and features intricate carvings of figures and dragons.
