This antique Katana is signed by Hokuetsu Kouyo Jyu Minamoto Masakage, forged in 1864 during the late Edo period. Masakage was a member of the Yamaura school and learned techniques from renowned smiths like Minamoto Masao and Suishinshi Masatsugu. The blade comes with a full koshirae mounting and an NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Certificate, confirming its authenticity and high quality.
