This katana is signed by Kawachi no Kami Kunisuke, believed to be the second generation, active during the early Edo period (1658-1673). He was a prominent smith in the Osaka Shinto movement, known for the beauty of his Jigane. The sword comes with an NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Certificate and features a Koshirae with a dragonfly motif.
