This Edo period tsuba is made in a yotsu-mokkō shape and features a Toki (crested ibis) design. The design depicts a flock of toki gathered along the waterside with aquatic plants, plum blossoms, and flowing streams. The design is executed mainly with shallow carving and fine line engraving, creating a refined and delicate appearance.
