This wakizashi is mumei and attributed to Kaneharu, dating to the Muromachi period around the Koji era (1555-1558). Originally a nagamaki, it was shortened and features a well-forged ko-itame hada and rounded gunome midare hamon. The sword comes with a koshirae including a mokko-shaped iron tsuba and a dark brown saya with carved texture.
