This is a Hirasankaku Omi Yari (large spear) signed by Genzaemon of Dodanuki school in Higo province. Genzaemon was a skilled smith from the Dodanuki Masakuni lineage, known for his large spears, and accompanied Kato Kiyomasa during the Korean campaigns. The yari dates to the Momoyama period (around Bunroku era).
