This Katana is attributed to Kashu Ietsugu, a smith of the prestigious Fujishima school active in Kaga province during the Early Muromachi period (Ōei era). The blade comes with an NBTHK Hozon Certificate and is housed in a Tachi Koshirae, characterized by luxurious decorations and a Kinnashiji-nuri saya. It also includes a shirasaya case and a traditional sword carrying case.
