This is a wakizashi made by Toshinaga, who belonged to the Yamato school and later moved to Mino province. The blade dates to the late Edo period, around the Bunsei era (1818-1830). It comes with a NBTHK Hozon certificate and a koshirae featuring a sharkskin saya.
