Description

This is a katana by Kanemoto, a Mino smith active in the late Muromachi period. The blade features a beautiful shape with standard mihaba and sori, and a slightly extended chu-kissaki. The hamon is gunome with togariba, and the jigane shows itamehada, mokumehada, and nagarehada with fine jinie and chikei.
