Modern tanto by Kanehiro of Higo Yatsushiro, also known as Akamatsu Taro Kanehiro. The blade is freshly polished and comes with an aikuchi koshirae featuring chrysanthemum makie. Kanehiro is a modern smith from Kumamoto prefecture and the younger brother of smiths Kaneshige and Kaneteru.
