This is a unique Sakabato (reverse blade sword) crafted by Akamatsutaro Kanehiro, born Kimura Kaoru in Kumamoto Prefecture in 1961. The blade, dated Reiwa 7 (2025), is a reproduction of a fictional sword from a popular manga, featuring a reversed blade and mune. Such swords are extremely difficult to forge and polish, making this a rare and valuable piece that comes with koshirae.
