This is a katana by Kaneuji, a descendant of Shizu Saburo Kaneuji, from the middle Edo period. The blade features a flowing itame-hada with masame and a vibrant hamon of gunome-midare with togari-ba, showing active nie and sunagashi. It comes with both a koshirae and shirasaya, and is designated as Tokubetsu Kicho Token.
