This katana features exquisite carvings by Kasama Ikkansai Shigetsugu, a renowned craftsman from the Taishō to early Shōwa periods. The blade is adorned with auspicious pine, bamboo, and plum motifs, and both the blade and koshirae are in excellent condition. It comes with an appraisal certificate from the Token Kenkyu Rengokai.
