This is a Daisho set (katana and wakizashi) made by Ikkansai Shigetsugu in 1936. Both blades have been granted Tokubetsu Hozon status by the Society for Preservation of Japanese Art Swords. The katana features itame hada, gunome hamon with choji, and horimono of Fudo Myo-o and Kulika, while the wakizashi has itame hada, gunome hamon, and flying dragon horimono.
