This is a katana by Yoshitsugu, associated with the Kuramaseki group of the Sanjo school in Yamashiro province, active during the late Muromachi period. It features a honsan-zukuri construction with an ubu-nakago, displaying an itame-hada mixed with masame, jifu, and shirake-utsuri. The hamon is a combination of notare, gunome, and choji, with a soft nioiguchi and active ko-nie, showing excellent activity and brightness. The blade also has bo-hi carvings on both sides and comes with a kuro-ro-nuri saya uchigatana koshirae.
